Nasal Speculum Case-From Prototyping to Low Volume Production

A year ago, we helped produce an innovative nasal speculum.This is an innovation that has led to a more efficient way for doctors to work.


How does it go from prototype to low-volume production?
Our CNC and 3D printing services can meet the prototype requirements, and the nasal speculum has undergone several modifications and validation of the model.


After the design is confirmed, we start to make the mold for volume production.Then do plastic injection moulding and metal injection moulding to produce series products





For this project, there are two main difficulties that need to be solved.
1. Assembly problem between plastic parts and MIM parts.We should make sure that it can be disassembled and used again after assembly.


2. MIM buckle position(as shown in the figure below), we ensure the speculum can be open and close smooth after spring is installed and no gap when it closed.


After all the problems were solved, we went into volume production.
